Privacy Policy

MarinaDNS does not require registration and does not sell your data to anyone. Query results are not stored, except for NODA Check — see below.

What we collect

When you use NODA Check or any other tool on marinadns.io, the following data is processed:

Domain name you enter — used to perform the lookup and immediately discarded. We do not log queried domains, with the exception of NODA Check — see “Historical data” below.
IP address — logged transiently by our server for rate-limiting purposes. Not stored long-term or linked to queries.

Cookies

MarinaDNS itself does not set any cookies. Google Analytics, which we use to understand site traffic, sets its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — see “Third-party services” below. Your language preference (EN/RU/TR) is determined by the URL path, not stored.

Google AdSense may set additional cookies to serve relevant ads. These are third-party cookies governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense (publisher ID: ca-pub-2912635168773899) to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your interests. You can opt out via Google's Privacy Policy.

DNS queries

DNS lookups are resolved via an Unbound recursive resolver running on our server. Queries are not logged, not shared with third parties, and not used for any purpose beyond returning results to you in real time.

Third-party services

Google AdSense — advertising. Privacy Policy
Google Analytics — site usage analytics. Privacy Policy
Google Fonts — typography. Fonts load from Google servers; your IP may be logged by Google.
Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection. Privacy Policy

Data retention

We do not maintain a database of users or queries, with the exception of NODA Check — see “Historical data” below. Server access logs (IP addresses and request paths) are retained for security purposes and rotated periodically.

Historical data — NODA Check

For NODA Check, we reserve the right to collect and retain historical queries, results, and related statistics beyond the minimal-data approach described above. This data may be used to improve these tools, generate aggregate and benchmark statistics (including public rankings and trend reporting), and support future features.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under GDPR including access, correction, deletion, and objection to processing. Since we collect minimal data, most requests can be satisfied by clearing your browser cookies.
